Objective
To conduct a comprehensive LIDAR scanning and mapping on one of the power plants in UAE and issue a comprehensive report of the issues and misalignments.
Challenges
- The plant size is 44km2
- Weather conditions and summer temprature
- The client’s contractural tolerance are less than 5mm
- Limited access to certain areas of the site due to incomplete road infrastructure
Solution
Our team deployed M350 RTK + advanced Lidar sensor, and created a custom flight plans to be able to meet the client requirements
